Today is the last day of The Tiffey Valley Painters two-week exhibition at the Dragonfly Gallery in Watton.

The Tiffey Valley Painters are a group of painters of varying degrees of ability and experience all of whom attend my classes and/or workshops. The idea was to showcase the work of “a tutor and his students”. I dislike the word students, it doesn’t do justice to these painters with whom I work every week. Hence the title of the show became “Art does not have 2 match the sofa” which is a slogan (made up of American car number plates) which I came across on an art trading card (ATC) many years ago.

We’ve had a great show and made a few sales which was an unexpected bonus. Some of the wonderful paintings are shown in these photographs courtesy of Tony Kirk.
